What is it about? Spar is a classic in Ghana and Nigeria – played during breaks, at the market and among friends. Everyone holds five cards, and the first four tricks are only preparation. Whoever takes the last trick scores. It pays most to win with a small card – a 6 or a 7.

  1. Dealing: Everyone gets 5 cards.
